I hope you are able to find this, (no one has a clue what I'm on about, so if you do, I'll be impressed!)
back in 2004 their was a mini series on the BBC called blackpool. it focussed on the main character, rippley holden, having to deal with a murder in his family owned arcade.
well, after the series finished, the BBC made a follow up movie in which rippley holden meets a girl, kitty, and together they plot to steal the world cup. well: it turns out kitty is not who she says she is, and kitty and rippley go their own ways.
this is what I am after, the movie they made. I am convinced it is called blackpool and made sometime between 2004 and 2005
